GassiTrail — Delete my data / Meine Daten löschen
Last updated: 13 August 2026 · App: GassiTrail · Developer / Operator: Nakordoni, info@nakordoni.eu
This page explains how to ask us to delete the data GassiTrail holds about you, what gets deleted, what we keep in anonymised form, and how long it takes. Diese Seite erklärt, wie du die Löschung deiner GassiTrail-Daten beantragst, was gelöscht wird, was anonymisiert erhalten bleibt und wie lange es dauert.
NKD-XXXX-XXXX). That identifier is what a deletion request removes.
GassiTrail hat kein Konto und keine E-Mail — deine Kennung ist eine zufällige Geräte-ID.
1. How to request deletion — in the app (fastest)
- Open GassiTrail on the device you use it on.
- Go to the Profile tab (the paw icon, bottom right).
- Scroll to the bottom, to the section About & support.
- Tap “Delete my data” (DE “Meine Daten löschen” · PL „Usuń moje dane” · UK «Видалити мої дані» · RU «Удалить мои данные»).
- Confirm. The request is registered immediately and you will see a countdown.
You have a 23-hour cancellation window — reopening the same screen lets you cancel the request if you change your mind. After that window the deletion is carried out automatically by an hourly job, so it completes within about 24 hours of your request. 23 Stunden Widerrufsfenster, danach automatische Löschung innerhalb von ca. 24 Stunden.
2. How to request deletion — if you no longer have the app
If you have already uninstalled GassiTrail, e-mail info@nakordoni.eu with the subject “GassiTrail delete my data” and include one of the following so we can find your records:
- your device key
NKD-XXXX-XXXX(it was shown in Profile → Connected → Device key), or - a link to a walk you shared from the app, or
- your family / group invite code (form
GT-XXXXXfor a family,GP-XXXXXfor a walking group).
We complete e-mail requests within 30 days of receiving them (GDPR Art. 12). Without one of the identifiers above we cannot locate your data, because we store no name and no e-mail address to search by.
3. What is deleted permanently
These records are erased outright, including the image files behind them:
| Data | What it covers |
|---|---|
| Dog profiles | Name, breed, age, weight and every dog you created |
| Photos | Dog avatars, group-wall photos and business/promo images — the files are removed from the server, not just the database rows |
| Group wall posts | Everything you posted to walking-group walls |
| Care calendar | Vet visits, vaccinations, treatments and any documents/prescriptions you attached |
| Business profile | Business account and promotions, if you had one |
| Walk availability | Your “open to walk” setting and notes |
| Device key | Your NKD-XXXX-XXXX key is released and no longer resolves to you |
4. What is kept — in anonymised form only
Recorded walks and the social records attached to them are not deleted; instead your identifier is replaced with a fresh random anonymous id and personal labels (dog names, member names, place names and notes) are blanked. The result can no longer be linked to you, your device or your dog. This covers:
- recorded walk tracks, distances, durations and statistics;
- group and household memberships, meetings, walk invites and shared routes (names blanked);
- saved places / markers you added to the map (name and note blanked);
- friend connections, dog-walker sessions and reviews;
- the device-fingerprint record itself.
Retention period: these anonymised rows are kept indefinitely as non-personal, aggregate statistics (they feed things like route popularity and the breed leaderboard). They contain no identifier that points back to you. Everything listed in section 3 is gone for good and cannot be restored. Anonymisierte Datensätze werden unbefristet als nicht-personenbezogene Statistik aufbewahrt; alles aus Abschnitt 3 wird endgültig gelöscht.
5. Good to know
- Deleting your data does not require deleting the app, and deleting the app does not by itself delete server-side data — use one of the two routes above.
- If you shared a walk link publicly, that link stops resolving to you once the request is processed.
- Data is stored on our own servers in the EU (OVH, France). We sell nothing and show no ads — see the Privacy Policy.
