No account, no e-mail, no name. GassiTrail works without registration. The app uses a random device identifier to store your walks. We process: GPS traces of walks you record, your dog's profile data you enter (name, breed, weight), photos and files you choose to upload (dog photo, prescriptions shared with your family), and anonymous usage statistics (which screens are used). Kein Konto, keine E-Mail, kein Name — die App nutzt eine zufällige Gerätekennung. Verarbeitet werden: GPS-Spuren deiner aufgezeichneten Spaziergänge, die von dir eingegebenen Hundedaten, von dir hochgeladene Fotos/Dateien und anonyme Nutzungsstatistiken.
Location is used only while recording a walk, planning a route, or — with your explicit opt-in — to help meeting partners and friends find you during the meeting window. Live-location sharing is OFF by default and visible only to people you personally exchanged dog QR codes with, never to strangers. Data is stored on our own servers in the EU (OVH, France). We do not sell data and show no ads. Family and group sharing only ever shows display names — device identifiers stay on the server. News is aggregated from public sources. Speicherung auf eigenen EU-Servern (OVH, Frankreich); kein Verkauf, keine Werbung.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with TLS (HTTPS); the app refuses unencrypted connections (iOS App Transport Security).
Write to [email protected] to request export or deletion of everything linked to your device identifier (shown in the app under Profile → Connected). Deleting the app removes all local data. Export/Löschung per E-Mail; App löschen entfernt alle lokalen Daten.
